I woke up this morning to the sound of the refrigerator opening. I go to the kitchen (5:40am) and see Dylan sitting next to the refrigerator with a bag of chocolate Easter candy. He smiled at me when he noticed me watching him and his teeth were covered in chocolate. I so wish I had the camera and got a picture of that. Priceless!!

On to my older boy Landon. Last night he and I went on a long bike ride and we were talking and he told me that he wants to learn how to tie his shoe laces. Great! We got back home and I showed him how and he practice and practice and he finally got it! He was so proud of himself as was I. He kept untying his shoes and trying to tie them but couldn't quite get it again. He got frustrated and gave up. Skip to this morning. He wakes up and tells me he would like to start taking a backpack to school because he doesn't like carrying all his stuff. OK no problem. So he gets his backpack and starts loading it up with his blanket and show and tell for the day. He came out ready to go and I asked him what he put in his bag. He starts listing things and here's how it went: Landon: "I've got my blanket, my Power Rangers for show and tell and my black tennis shoes (he was wearing flip flops) so I can put them on and tie them when we go outside at school". So freaking cute! When he was walking out to Zach's truck with his backpack on it gave me a glimpse of him when he starts kindergarten in August. I can't believe he is growing up so fast. My baby is becoming a big boy...
