Why?

Hi all. This blogging stuff is completely new to me so please bare with me as I get my feet wet. I wanted to start a blog for a couple of reasons. 1. it is a great way to write things done about our family and keep friends and family updated on our lives and 2. to get my feelings out about things I experience. So my very first post is due to something I have experienced recently. Ok, so I am completely at a loss for words about a terrible tragety that happened last week. Have you ever asked yourself, "why is life so unfair?" Well I came across a blog (The Sphors Are Multiplying) through another blog I have been faithfully reading (Matt, Liz and Madeline) and I have been asking myself this question for the past week now. The parent's of a little girl named Madeline Sphor lost her un-expectantly last week and I can't help but ask, "why???" I can't look at their blog without crying and being a mom of 2 boys it is hard for me to imagine what these parent's are going through. I know that death is a part of life but why a child who was just starting to live?? How are parent's supposed to cope with losing a child? How do you move on? These are all things I have been asking myself and I have absolutely no answer for any of these questions. All I have to say is...sometimes life just isn't fair.

  1. Congratulations on your first blog! For the record, I can only imagine what this family is experiencing. In regards to your blog, there is something to be said about the ability to even ask "why".

If you did know all the "why's" would you do anything different from here on out? What would your life currently look like if you had known the "whys" all along? Would it be the same or different? Would life really seem more "fair"?

I'm stoked with what you are doing here! Throwing stuff out on the table is never an easy task. I honor your courage! Way to go!
