It takes two children to turn your world upside down. When we only had Landon dare I say life was easy. I guess easier would be more appropriate!! Enter Dylan. :) He is so funny and very spirited but much more to handle then Landon was at his age. I guess that's why God gave me Landon first!! Don't get me wrong, Landon has his moments...A LOT, but we never experienced the "terrible two's" with him. This is all new to us and I am at a lost on how to deal with this new parenting dilemma. Going out in public is super challenging these days unless it is all about the kids. Zach and I do not (or at least try to avoid if we can) take the kids out to eat because it usually turns into a stressful evening for both of us. Landon is now getting more independent and likes to go out front and play with his friends and ride his bike. We are comfortable letting him do that without us being there ever minute watching him. Plus he is really good about keeping us informed of where he is going to be. Dylan on the other hand can not be out there with the kids by himself and he so desperately wants to be and do what ever his brother is doing. We take him out every once in a while but it is hard to try to get things all taken care of in the house (dinner, etc)when he wants to be out front. I try to get him to play out back since he can be out there and I can still keep an eye on him from the kitchen but for some reason out front is much better. Anyway, I guess what I am saying is that two children seems to be a lot more difficult right now but I wouldn't trade it for the world. They are both the loves of my life (along with my husband of course!)and I couldn't imagine my life without them. Thanks for listening!!
